Well in the proposed timetable the 124/125 will Extend to Woodside And interwork with the Monday To Saturday Evenings And Sunday 492/495 Services So it could be run by Avon Buses Here is the proposed Timetable Link: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/about-us/...rvices.pdf

Seems to have gone quiet with the other proposals especially the Arriva change proposals, still done know about 403/413/418/419/423, the 423 is especially important as i catch it from Liverpool, plus a few mates catch the late night journeys.

The current 418 timetable on Merseytravel does state that 118/119/218/419 are to be withdrawn and on VOSA they reregistered the route as 418 New Ferry to New Ferry

The new registration for the 413 still includes the 423 so I wonder if they've decided to keep it

RE: Wirral Bus Network Review
the 423 is staying but it won't be going round the sandbrook estate from september

i believe it will start earlier on a sunday to replace the 203 but may not run as late at night as it currently does

I used the last 423 to get over to Liverpool last Friday and it had a good load on it. Also, whenever I see the last one loading at Sir Thomas Street at the weekend it always seems popular. Is there any argument for retaining late night running Thurs-Sat?

423 is a handy alternative to the 471/472, & yes i get the late night 423s when i've been to St Helens RLFC games, plus late night 423s seem to be well loaded going though Birkenhead, relieved that the 423 is staying but no longer serving the Sandbrook estate.

According to review 423 is withdrawn replaced by a standard 413
