Does anyone recall what happened to 852? The receptionist at the Chester depot said it had a painful end but I can't find any information about what happened to it. It doesn't look accident damaged so I assume that maybe the engine blew up?

If 2728 is out today does anyone know where it is as im in Chester presently and im keen to a have a ride on it before its withdrawal to compare it to 2730 UPDATE: I found it on an X4 service seems to be better than 2730

I'd heard from a driver that the MOT ran out, but could be more than that
On another note 849 is now withdrawn due to a gearbox problem
