Since Avon had their PVR reduced. Have any vehicles been withdrawn?

How is their overall level of service since the changes ? Have things improved.

I reported in my monthly Merseyside Fleet Update that KP51 UFK (151), V187 ERG (187), KU52 YLB (252) Y173 NLK (173) Y174 NLK (174), KU02 YBB (202) KU02 YBD (302) have all been Withdrawn, I believe some Buses may of been withdrawn since my update/Are due off really soon.

Ah that explains whats replacing them I thought they wernt needed with the PVR being reduced with the cuts recently.

Looking like it is true as one of their drivers as posted on Facebook, I wonder who's going to take on the routes, looks like Merseytravel might be trying to find operators to operate them asap maybe Stagecoach or Arriva could take some of the routes on considering they have depot's on Wirral

If its true then its probably been coming since the service problems of last year.

No longer a rumour sadly this is true they have gone and another long standing I dependent has gone.

This has now been posted on the Merseytravel Website: Avon Bus services. - Due to operational difficulties Avon Buses are not operating at this time. We are awaiting further updates from the operator.
