The new timetable is available on RTT.

Of course it is, but that's neither here nor there.

They have issued new hard copy timetables, which presumably went to the printers as pdf's or similar so why aren't they on the website like everyone else's?
Having said that the new booklets are in fact exactly the same as the ATW ones but with a new cover - inside they still have expired pages and references to the old website!

From my office window I noticed one yesterday just after 9am having left Stockport for Manchester. I expect this was therefore 175 107.

Otherwise 175 003 judging by later posts. I forget which are 2-car and which 3-car but it was a 2-car example I saw.

175/0; 2 car
175/1; 3 car

The D-trains will run from Crewe to Chester until 2021 and then I suspect that the brand new DMU CIVITY will take over.

The official TfW announcement was that D-Trains would be used on Chester-Crewe and Conwy Valley initially but there's doubts over whether that will actually happen. A link to Wikipedia doesn't confirm that the issues with using D-Trains on those routes have been addressed.

RE: Transport for Wales Rail
The all singing, all dancing TFW has more issues than Northern by the looks of things. All Chester - Manchester services tomorrow will terminate at Oxford Road (reducing the number of trains by 1), Llandudno - Blaenau Ffestiniog is not running (Llew Jones running rail reps). Wrexham - Bidston is down to 1 train as well with Pats Coaches supplying rail reps for services not running. Also it looks like 1 full train duty is off in South Wales.

I thought this new franchise was going to be amazing and faultless. At least ATW could run a flipping train service lol. I get trains need repairing etc but like I say, ATW coped well for a long time, 4 train duties is a lot to drop. There must be spares somewhere. ATW would have loaned off Northern. Given the Northern strikes, there will probably be loads of trains over there.

TFW have had very little time to do anything since the ATW Franchise ended so any issues ATW had will most likely still be having an effect
