My ASSUMPTION is that these 2 class 150 will be transferred FROM the Crewe-Chester and Llandudno-Blaenau Ffestiniog services since these two services will be booked as class 230. |

RE: Transport for Wales Rail
I doubt if there will be any Cl.230s in time for May. ; Do Chester crews still sign 153s - I think they used to do some Crewe-Shrewsbury stoppers? |

RE: Transport for Wales Rail
TfW Rail were also in talks about getting a few 144s on a temporary basis but with the situation at Northern that may not happen. |

RE: Transport for Wales Rail
The test/training run last Friday was operated by 158 830, and also note that the previous test train that operated into Lime Street a few months back was a class 175, which makes you wonder if this service will be Class 150 operated. |

The training session starting tomorrow will be, I think, operated by class 150. The first training session is labelled as 3F50. This 3F50 has been previously formed from 1D53 which is the 0923 Crewe to Chester (arriving at 0946) shuttle service (see RTT below). The Crewe-Chester shuttle service is often booked as class 150 (150235 for example). The return journey (Chester-Crewe labelled as 1K07) leaving at 0958 will be formed from 1D33. This could be booked, I guess, as class 158 (158823 for example). http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/a...wtt&toc=AW The last training session for the day, labelled as 3D52 and operated by the same class 150 (150235), will go back to the Chester-Crewe shuttle service. This service is labelled as 1K12. The previous Crewe-Chester service booked as the same class 158 (158823) is labelled as 1D58. This 1D58 will form the 5D14 and this will be attached to 1D14 in order to form the service to Holyhead (see RTT below). http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/a...wtt&toc=AW |

RE: Transport for Wales Rail
The class of unit used for route learning has precisely no bearing on what is going to be diagrammed for the service. |
