Unplanned last day on the rail replacements between Birkenhead & Hooton and the following were noted....Arriva 4564, 4570, 4572, 4622, 4635, 4636, 4648, 4650, 4664 and Stagecoach 10832, 15593, 15594, 18441, 19018 & 19022, Stagecoach seemed to be doing all the express runs and Arriva the stoppers.

Nothing requiring them today, presume either on standby in case it over ran again this morning...or ready for the Hooton-Chester closure from tomorrow??

I can't see Arriva putting buses in Hooton ready for tomorrow. Could it be route training with everyone following eachother to learn the route?

Noted on the Chester - Hooton rail replacements this afternoon were 4636 & 4667 with 4632 & 4635 parked up at Hooton, several Hybrids also noted

It's the West Kirby line's turn for the platform works now from 7-22 April between Birkenhead North and West Kirby, had a brief look at what was being used on it this afternoon, mainly the same Enviro400's as was on the Chester line (plus Hybrid 4523) 4564, 4622, 4632, 4662 & 4663 with the addition of Bootle's 4625 which I've not noted over this side of the Mersey before, here it is leaving West Kirby a little earlier.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/46649034385

Noted on the West Kirby rail replacements today were the following...
4567, 4568, 4571, 4574, 4662 & 4667. Don't think 4567, 4568 & 4574 have been noted over this side of the Mersey before.

New Brighton line is closed this week between Birkenhead North & New Brighton.....noted on the rail reps today were 4568, 4571, 4574, 4674 & 4675 plus a Birkenhead hybrid....
