According to RTT, the first training session, labelled as 3F50, was previously formed from 1D31 (0941 Crewe to Chester 1000). The 1D31 itself was previously formed from 1K31 (0715 Holyhead to Crewe 0936). The last training session, labelled as 3D52, will form 5H91 and then will couple to another unit at Chester station to form 1H91 to Manchester Piccadilly. The 1H91 will form 1D32 where this service will split at Llandudno Junction.
