RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
The Northwich 1 route now seems to usually be allocated 1 Centro and 1 Cadet - it was previously usually 2 x Centros. |

I was referring to the fact they won't withdraw 56 plate buses when there are 54 plates still operating into the city region. They are rubbish (my opinion), but allocation isn't really down to the choice of depots, it's decided by the depots needs, and ultimately the final decision is made at Head Office with some input from the depot. Correct me if Im wrong, but they have pretty much the same capacity as a Cadet, and mechanically they are absolutely identical, so don't really have any difference in power between the two of them. |

According to form there will be pvr reductions when these bus hubs open so merseyside wont need them. |

Apart from the almost unanimous negative feedback on these proposals, the city council met this week and there was cross-party agreement that they need to be looked at again as they totally contradict the Metro Mayor's aim at increasing bus usage and reducing car usage and pollution in the city centre. We shall see. |

There is 1 assigned to the birkenhead depot, 3180. It is a regular performer out everyday and up to now as far as I can gather although I might be incorrect, none of the drivers have complained about it. |

That one isn't ex-Winsford, it came from Telford in exchange for one that had been in a fatal. I believe it is a bit different to the Winsford one's as well. |

706 has acquired poppy adornments - it had a couple of large ones a few days ago, but some smaller ones have now been added. ; It was preceded by 2572 and followed by 4491 - which is no longer in Sapphire livery. |

I assume the engineering change has now taken place with Runcorn as X1 Sapphire Pulsar 2, 3139 appeared on a early evening working into Chester on the 84 yesterday, 3rd October. |
