It was supposed to be on rails, rail driver took a hybrid instead so it ended up on service.

Yes the mind does boggle the number of single deckers on busy cross river routes

4104 would make sense as it's the last unaccounted for B7TL from the batch formerly at Winsford. It might even still be there, laid up. Both 4100 and 4104 (as well as Speke's cannibalised 4122) have been out of service for a long time, so it would be great to see them back up and running.

At least Birkenhead has always had deckers. Green Lane didn't have any at all for far too long

The Hooton to Chester rail reps seem to be in the hands of the Cross river hybrids with 4560, 4623, 4624, 4652 & 4653 on various cross river routes today....

4102 is heading back over the water so isn't to be used again I think.
