90020, 90021, 90026, 90029 and 90039 have been confirmed as the fleet that will be hired out to Grand Central for their Blackpool North to London Euston services. This will see only 90037 as the sole active member of the fleet to carry the EWS Maroon and Gold colours. 90021 is currently on an extensive rebuild at Crewe Electric Depot, a test run or 2 to Stafford might be a vital opportunity to see this as the last of the 3 in its Former First Scotrail livery before it’s eventual trip to Toton.

Will be a long time (or forever) to see either this or 050 running again, the latter is a shell and I can’t see a preserved railway forking out for a 6 figure rebuild at Loughborough Brush.

92015 is in the process of being moved by road from Dollands Moor to Crewe Electric Depot having been dumped down there for several months with defected axles.
