I have noticed this too, it is very common in Greater Manchester to get about 1 - 2 weeks for service changes when I think it would be great to have 2 months notice period 1 month being consultation period about the proposed changes then the other being notice period of change.

They did this last year just a couple of weeks into lockdown and with MCT closing and a lot of changes suddenly announced there would be no changes. Don’t understand who and why they make posts like that.

Transdev April & Beyond Changes

From 11th April
464 | Accrington to Rochdale via Rawtenstall & Bacup
Back to pre-lockdown timetable
Trax | Bury to Rochdale
back to pre-lockdown timetable
Tottington Line | Bury - Tottington
Will continue to use the current times
Irwell Line | Bury to Blackburn & Burnley via Rawtenstall
Back to pre-lockdown timetable, with a route change in Rawtenstall on Sundays. We’re having difficulties getting through Staghills Road on Sundays, so to make our service more reliable for you we’ll be using Newchurch Road instead. If you usually use the stops on Staghills Road at Brow Edge, Top Barn Lane and Windsor Road, please head to stops on Newchurch Road instead.
Lakeline 458 | Rochdale to Littleborough
Lakeline 458 will run every evening with a bus every hour from Rochdale through Wardle, Smithy Bridge and Hollingworth Lake to Littleborough, Shore and Stansfield. This brings back evening buses to these areas for the first time in many years.
Bury Bolts B1 | Bury to Peel Brow
Will have a slight timetable change on afternoons Monday-Friday to improve reliability.
Bury Bolts B2 & B3 |
Will continue to use current times.
Rochdale Runners
All Rochdale Runners routes, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R7, R8, R9, R13, will continue to use current times.
6 | Rochdale to Kirkholt Evening Service
This service will be branded THE 6 | In the evenings will have a new timetable – with a bus every hour.
273 | Rawtenstall to Bolton
Will continue to use current times
435 | Rochdale to Buckstones via Shaw
Will continue to use current times
480 | Bolton to Bury via Hawkshaw
Will continue to use current times

Most of the Transdev routes will be keeping to the current covid timetables from 11th April.
From 11th April
Witchway | Burnley to Manchester via Rawtenstall
Will see an increase on weekends, giving a bus every 20 minutes on Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Monday to Friday times will stay as they are now.

From 16th May
Witchway will go back to the pre-lockdown timetable except for late-night buses (see below).

From 25th June
We’ll be bringing late-night buses back on Witchway to support the reopening of evening venues. These will run on Friday nights as well as Saturday nights as they did before.

RE: Greater Manchester Service Changes
Also mentioned on the Transdev Rosso page that Vision Bus will be running the new 511 evening and Sunday service. Should imagine that this will interwork with the 494 on Sunday daytime.

RE: Greater Manchester Service Changes
I wonder what Selwyns will use on 44? I could be wrong but i think the Slimline Solo that's currently in use on their 95 service could be one bus but not to sure whether they've got any other minibus/Enviro200s in their fleet.

‘Their 95 service’ since when did it become theirs??

They will probably be getting the two TFGM Versa’s with Goodwins and id guess more of the batch that were stored at Stockport bus station will be brought back to life.
