I think the Enviro400s were reported elsewhere erroneously as they haven't been noted joining the fleet. Something, something, something Dart Side... |

All still in London condition so presuming they will convert. Possibly for their tender gains next month. |

They've been out as staff shuttles a couple of times but not in service yet. EDP, EDR and CZS are all ex-Tower Transit. Also all ex-Tower Transit which, along with the 11/61 plate double deckers bought by Vision, Tyrers, and Atlantic Travel over the last few months, increases the percentage of the TT fleet now based in and around Bolton. These three will probably replace LK07BEY (which was withdrawn a while ago), LK07BDU (which is accident damaged) and LK07ELJ (which is now apparently only a spare/staff bus). |

There was a list posted (possibly on here) which suggested they had won some other bits. I’m wondering whether they will receive the 3 TFGM hybrids with the 94 contract. |

Vision already have 10 of the TfGM hybrids (YJ60 KCC / KCG / KCK / KCN / KCO / KCZ / YJ11 ENT / ENU / YJ61 JGF / JGO). A driver who I know there told me that they were all being returned to TfGM at the end of April. Something to do with the Optare contract and a refurbishment program. This could be another reason for the new Tower Transit investments. As for tenders, I know there was talk of the new evening number 1 from Bolton to Egerton (which, if Vision get, would be a like for like replacement for the withdrawn evening 533). There is also the possibility of the daytime 516 which is likely to be tendered after Diamond stop their commercial service. But Vision are also losing a lot of services due to withdrawing all their commercial routes (except the daytime 527) and changes to associated tenders (eg as they're cancelling the daytime commercial 595, TfGM are withdrawing the subsidised evening/Sunday trips and replacing all journeys with the re-routed 583). There must be something in the pipeline though because I can't see Vision willingly losing so much work (and risking losing more with the Bolton routes up for renewal too) without some sort of backup plan/hidden agenda. |

That’s interesting regarding the Tfgm hybrids. They are all in poor condition anyway, and I can’t remember whether they meet Euro 6 standards or not, most are certainly not any longer hybrids anyway. |

RE: Vision Bus
It be interesting what their plan is with franchising as currently they have no routes within 18 months unless they been told they are safe. so buying lots of ex London buses is a big gamble unless they plan to flip them by selling them on if things don't goto plan. |
