.
Despite hordes of Avanti "Event" staff at Bank Quay they appeared to be reliant on wedged taxis.
.
The shuttles I believe are hourly. No meaningful shuttle bus which is probably why people all got taxis.

The 329 does still run but on a limited service. This 34E could easily be run hourly with one vehicle and it could possibly fill the odd gap as Arriva only run every 20 minutes (combined 34/34A) at the moment

Noticed what I think was a Black Versa on the 34E does anyone have more info on it im
I’m assuming it’s an extra for the 34E the Arriva strike means I’ve not been in St Helens as much as normal

Heard its an all over dark blue versa and is an ex Ipswich buses.
Not treating there passengers very well by charging £2.80 flat fare and £5 for a day ticket.

Personally think it’s a bit too expensive considering it’s £2.30 with Arriva and Merseytravel wanting a £2 flat fare

The fare is £2.30, not £2.80 with no day ticket or no return. The £5 day ticket is likely an MTravel Solo ticket.
