A pic has appeared on the Liverpool City Region METRO FB enthusiasts page of one of the large batch of diesel Wright Ultroliners on test.....with fleetnumber 3704, which would point to it being one of the Birkenhead bound ones, 3*** being diesel deckers in the GNW numbering. Batch presumably 3701-3750.

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
First of the Birkenhead bound E200MMC's for Go North West have been sighted (from a post on the Arriva NW FB page), presume starting at 4301 in the GNW series, 4302 is YY26ULV. Presume there's long and short examples due, and 63 are unallocated after the Stagecoach batches are accounted for...

I would full expect the Ultroliners to appear there also! And any short 8m E200MMC's (the Stagecoach ones haven't appeared yet so I guess they are in build for both areas currently....).

There is space for a lot more vehicles there.

From a post on FB, the first of the 8m E200MMC's for St Helens has been sighted at ADL, 37635 YX26ORL, with a 10.8m Go North West one besides it numbered 4354, so at least 54 10.8m ones for Birkenhead.
