RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
One thing i've been thinking of [mentioned it on another forum] the Bootle routes could do with sorting out where they pick up in the City Centre, as you have the current daft situation were the 47, 52, 52A, 53, 55, 58, 300 & X2 all terminate at Queen Square but on the way back the 47, 53, 300 & X2 pick up at Queen Square, but the 52, 52A, 55, 58 all pick up at Sir Thomas Street, that is annoying particularly in the Evenings. Stand 12 at Queen Square only has one bus a day stopping there, wonder whether some of the Bootle routes that stop in Sir Thomas Street could be moved to there instead? |

With the upcoming changes will be interesting to see how they update what is at present the awkward Merseytravel app where things have stopped working on it . |

I have often wondered why the 53 couldn't move to Stand 12 and the 47 move to Stand 11 to share with the X2, as they both go roughly the same way to Southport, thus leaving Stand 10 for the 300, 310 & 345, as they all serve the Black Bull and Aintree Retail Park. |

I was under the impression Arriva didn't want to pay the fees to use the station so surely under Metro, that wouldn't be an issue? |

It sounds like Stand 12 is the tactical spare to accommodate any services that have to be moved . The change to Metro operation may allow services to be rearranged |
