I'll tell you what's even more surprising: seeing a 7 departing Warrington displaying Huyton! It left Warrington Interchange at about 1940. One idea is that it was meant to be the 7a departing the Interchange at 1910, but was so late that it was curtailed to Huyton, and they didn't have the dests for 7a Huyton. Another is that the driver was really on a 7 to Huyton, but continued to Warrington by mistake ... the timings would work as this is exactly half-way in between scheduled 7a's, but surely not?! |

Prestige 2403 was on the 6/7 this morning. Had 2219 home on the 7 today, that isn't a bad bus with relatively few rattles and a good turn of speed but the gearbox really needs looking at on it. It had a mind of it own, revving high at random moments and not engaging drive quick enough. Justice is finally here. Rest In Peace the 96, You'll Never Walk Alone.

2401 had its running units removed before being used for training purposes at a local Fire Station, no doubt the remains will be removed by a scrap dealer. |
