Does anybody think That Caego will use the Marshall's Because we Are Currently Short, And ive heard there for Store Not Scrap? so i recon if things Change They'll Take 2299/300 Of Chester's For Local's And Place The Marshall's On Chester's I Dowt it Will Happen But Be Nice to See! Will Bring Back Memories Of Marshall's In Wrexham!

The Marshalls are unlikely because they've all been withdrawn from Green Lane due to faults so would require money spending on them. There are a large number more vehicles to come for store (with the intention of scrap eventually, probably when the book value is low enough) and drivers are currently being asked if they would prefer 'some SLFs' to replace the DAF deckers in the short term until the Enviro400s arrive so some of these vehicles may well see service but as for it being the Marshalls, that seems unlikely.

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
2511 is paying a brief visit to Wrexham this evening and perhaps over the weekend, being the latest product to have its P&P completed by the highly talented gentlemen at the St Helens body & paint shop. The vehicle was noted being driven to Wrexham depot around lunchtime today on the A55. Its stay is no more than a flying visit, with either 2299 or 2300 (of which both are being used currently by Aberystwyth) being brought back to Wrexham depot for further use and 2511 making the return journey to the coast. 2511 is certainly looking resplendent and should be once more serving Aberystwyth shortly.

Wrexham depot continues to be the holding depot for withdrawn vehicles from across the North Western and Welsh fleets. Those currently present are:

Alexander ALX200 bodied Dart SLF's; 2302-5, 2308, 2309, 2312.
Marshall Capital bodied Dart SLF's; 7612, 7614.
Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dart SLF; 2131.
MPD's; 810-14, and a heavily cannibalised 804 awaits collection for scrap.
DAF ALX400; 4025, awaiting engine attention.

DAF SB220GS/Plaxton Prestige 2400 is also on-site minus engine & gearbox, despite previous claims of the vehicle being dispatched for scrap from Bolton depot.

Quick question, how visible are all of these, please?? I note from Google streetview that there is a (public?) path the goes up the side of the depot and might have a brief trip down next week for a few pics if it's worth my while!

Ta in advance

A good quantity can be seen from the garage parameters, especially in winter when foliage dies away.
