well the 360 was bad today getting few on and just as you thought it was all over 2560 was ready for overheating so got pulled of from doing the 3rd to last warrington of the day, turned out there was a water leak so really that bus should not of seen service today and i was shocked it had lasted most of the day

am told from one of my contacts in the depot that there are some night tenders up in bolton in april and we put in for them, if the 715 is up it would be good to win that

How do you know that the water leak with 2560 wasn't something that just developed during the day? The vehicle probably started off fine at the start of the duty and then something probably happened to it during the day and it gradually got worse towards the end of the day

according to a mutual friend of ours it aint the first time its been reported with that fault in last few days

Not that I'm aware of. I think the only Arriva services in Greater Manchester running on New Years Day will be the 320 between St Helens and Ashton and the ML1. Don't think there are any services from any operators in Bolton on NYD.

bolton depot is shut new years day so yes no service from bolton depot this year

2561 has been cleared from you know what and the only reason its not been out is its MOT is up

7622 still counts as a bolton bus as well so might make a return

Just because its still on a depots allocation it doesnt mean it will come back into service. It will still be classed as a Boltin bus for a while until its officially for disposal. Unlikely to see service again though.

thats why i said might, depot rumor has it that its having a new engine but like i was saying to one of the drivers yesterday its had 3 engines why should it be given a 4th
