Information

With the new year comes 12 months of new photo competitions! Similarly to previous competitions, there are some rules set in place though they have been subject to some minor changes so, to ensure you're fully up-to date, please do take a look, here.

As we've started somewhat late this month, the deadline for entries will be 25th January giving a reduced voting period of 6 days. From February onwards, the deadline will revert to 20th of the month giving a voting period of 8-11 days. This should give all entrants adequate time to go out and actually capture your entries! Any entries submitted after the given date will, unfortunately, not be entered for the competition that month.

As ever, an up-to date league table will be published with the results of each month's competition. From now onwards, all entries should be submitted to MDDWPhotoComp[at]outlook.com where @ is replaced with [at] for spam prevention. Once the deadline passes, the photos will be uploaded and published in the relevant month's thread in the initial post along with a poll for voting.

To get the competition rolling again, the theme for January is 'Best of 2012'. In essence, a wildcard theme which should get everyone back into the swing of things. As previously, the winner will then select the next month's theme and their photo will appear as the banner for the MDDW Facebook page.

Thanks to all whom voted in this month's competition. The rankings are as follows:-

1st - CX54 DKD
2nd - Scania1996
3rd - K853 MTJ
4th - Marshall Capital SLF & 3111.

As I set the theme for this month's contest, the right to choose for Feb will be relinquished to Scania1996 so stay tuned for the upcoming theme which will be published shortly! The initial post has also now been updated to state the owner of each entry for clarity.
