RE: HTL Buses
Thanks Steve, another thing I've noticed on HTL buses recently is fraud whiplash claims or something similar to that. Only seen it on HTL though. |

Cumfybus have had big bright yellow with black writing stickers fitted on certain vehicles for over 6 months, sadly this is worrying sign that some people are intent on trying to defraud operators of in some cases thousands of pounds in fraudulent whiplash/injury claims, even with at least 3 cctv cameras on the interior to film them! |

RE: HTL Buses
This is very true, so I was told when I began working at HTL, after wages and fuel, insurance is the biggest cost to the company and in a large way due to fraudulent claims for whiplash. This is why all the buses have the Genius telematics system that monitors acceleration/deceleration etc as well as cameras and audio recording as the cost of this equipment for each bus is worth it for the reduction in insurance costs and reduced change of fraudulent claims. The system is also used day to day to monitor how each driver drives their bus in regards to fuel economy, harsh braking/acceleration and speed going over bumps/pot holes so it is a useful tool anyway to see how everyone drives and encourage better more fuel efficient driving. On a different note, V980 XUB watch continues as this bus was on the 196/147 on Thursday night (along with YJ12 GZL which is also very rare on that route!) and last night (and I presume day but I can't confirm) V980 XUB was also on the 188 (Garston Circular). buses7675 http://dartslf.com/ Light up, light up as if you have a choice,

RE: HTL Buses
A few odd workings noted today, the Asda Bus today had Mercedes Sprinter BF62 JZU on it, while Mercedes Sprinter/Mellor MX05 SMO operated route 883 for a few trips this morning, later replaced with a Solo M710SE! buses7675 http://dartslf.com/ Light up, light up as if you have a choice,

RE: HTL Buses
Whilst BF62 JZU was on the Asda bus X338 SKJ took it's place on the 898...very odd indeed! Justice is finally here. Rest In Peace the 96, You'll Never Walk Alone.

RE: HTL Buses
I think it was down to drivers with auto/manual licences, thus the 'new' automatic Merc went on the Asda service. MX05 SMO (I think!) is manual - never actually checked tbh but X338 SKJ is definitely a manual one! buses7675 http://dartslf.com/ Light up, light up as if you have a choice,

Long term withdrawn Dennis Dart 9.8M/Plaxton Pointer L354 FPF and Dennis Dart SLF 8.8M/Marshall Capital V358 DLH both left today on low loaders, presumably for scrap! buses7675 http://dartslf.com/ Light up, light up as if you have a choice,
