2551 (along with most 55 reg Cadets) are horrid little things in my opinion. This particular example sounded awful the last time it passed me.

Despite 2551 being a smooth runner, it has a deafening turbo leak and its interior is in need of a tidy-up (mix-and-match seat moquette)!

Does Arriva run the morning journeys to Maricourt and also are the afternoon services interworked i.e. do you do the 722 and then another service or are they all operated seperately 692 722 727 etc?

They are interworked, yes. My first afternoon school is the 692 from Savio High to Kirkdale Station. I leave the school at 1450, although I cannot display an ultimate destination in addition to 'School Bus' as 'Kirkdale Station' is not on the blind.

I forgot to say, Maricourt High finish early this Wednesday (they finish early every other Wednesday) so I won't be there as I am still on the Savio run when they finish. I'm not sure who operates the service instead.

Thanks for your reply it has been very useful as I wish to photograph palatines on these particular services before their demise.

Lord Street
Shevington Lane
Marsh Lane
Wigan
Southport
Ormskirk
Skelmersdale

There are probably a few more that have slipped my mind.
