I know the sticker you mean. It's in kph, not mph. Why would they limit them to 95mph? They legally have to be limited to 100km/h as a maximum anyway so if as suggested, Optare are now limiting them to 95mph then there's something illegal going on.

That would of been 7641 as it ran out of service from wigan to newton station to get an exchange and ended up with 2349.

We have coaches which are limited too 100 k/ph but shorter minbusses to 95 k/ph. wheen i asked its all to do wiith the width of the wheelbase and stability tests as the wheel base is narrower than normal full size vehicles..hope that helps

To limit something to 5kph less would not be illegal. It would work the same way as a speed limit. 70 is the maximum you can do but its fine to do 65 on a motorway.

Quite right, but that's not what I said. The illegality part of my post was in reference to the suggestion they're being limited to 95mph.
