It was signalling problems in the Hunts Cross Area . The last time this happened on that section of line the services had to continue to run on temporary block working because of the derailment at Ordsall preventing diversion to keep the service running in some sembelence of order. |

Chiltern Railways Class 121 route learner 960014 (ex 55022) was on hire to EMT in Januay and February for route learning purposes. This was to train staff on diversioary routes for the forthcoming Nottingham Station closure for re-signalling. Credit: Todays Railways All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

Because of a shortage of train crew, on Sunday 21 July, East Midlands Trains are running no trains between East Midlands Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street |
