3614 back on road due to typical unreliable DLA deckers

2565 went back into service at bolton yesterday

7615 and 7617s time is numbered

theres rumors going around the depot that 3362,3363 and 3364 will be sold on to a certain person when withdrawn but this am going to hold back on until i see something more solid

Used bus and coach sales tend to buy quite a lot of the deckers from Arriva. They tend to chop the engines out and export them to africa

according to depot talk the buses in question will be going for service at another company i been asked not to post what company as its just depot talk thats why am hinting the best i can

Oh dear oh dear, Y464KNF was broken down yesterday heading into Wigan in Scholes where the flats are, and today we have Y36KNB broken down at the bus stop at the roundabout in Blackrod, and it was being loaded onto a tow truck! It was only the other week that Y37KNB broke down there at the exact same place after the driver stopped it with warning alarms going off, and he said that he wasn't going to take it any further! Maybe the roundabout puts a break-down curse on the Ikarus Polaris SB220s haha! :P

for some reason ever since they come back from green lane depot they have been more unreliable than they used to be, 2454 that recently came back from somewhere to be fixed has already managed to break down twice, one of the 2 times it got towed

talk of the depot at the moment is they have won the 525 and 527 daytime service IF! this turns out to be true extra bus or 2 will be required

Wouldn't surprise me if they have took over the routes considering 525/7 are one of the routes that Arriva lost on tender to Maytree in the first place, be nice to see Arriva Bolton getting what were their routes back

not sure if i said it before but 2 of the 3 crash damaged hybrids are back on road now, just the one that crashed into firsts volvo left VOR.
