In inclement weather will it be a case of any closed top vehicle operating this service , that the allocators have at there disposal.

With quite a few ex-First buses being sold or at least withdrawn, I reckon by now the only ex-First buses still in the area are Eclipses. Are there still any other ex-First buses in service here?

Oh yes, the Solars are quite modern. The Flolines are more surprising as they are older buses.

And the royale bodied volvo olympians, theyre ex first too.

I would have expected the newer flolines to be kept anyway considering the the V,X,Y plated ones arnt actually 15 yet. I presume the better of the bunch where chosen to be kept to fill in the gaps where stagecoach buses hadnt been brought in, and any ex firsts that where in sellable condition where sold on and any that wern't where scrapped.

No Scanias are off to Scotland -they're either staying on the Wirral or being sold.

Was it a closed top vehicle today
