I have been thinking all afternoon if stagecoach wants to make some serious inroads into the Wirral there going to have to look at routes that First have dumped in the past , one route that could be looked at again is the present Merseytravel service 112 between New Ferry - Poulton Royd , it doesnt require a full size vehicle so an Optare Solo could be used .

Its setting a business case for at least 2 or 3 vehicles , they dont have to be brand new , could be another divisions throw aways they no longer require .

Does anybody know the reasoning behind repainting 21262 out of Chester Park and Ride livery into fleet livery, and will this be applied to all the park and rides?

Saw one of Chester's Enviro 200's today which had been route-branded for service 16 (Chester - Saltney). I assume this is part & parcel of the re-launch of the Chester network (new timetables starting tomorrow)?

It has been an interesting weekend for the 15 service in New Brighton, as E208 WBG previously posted yesterday ADL Enviro400 MX56 FSD was on the 15 yesterday due to D158 FYM having a suspected electrical problem, today however saw Alexander Dennis Trident 2 with Alexander ALX400 bodywork registered LX51 FNE with the fleet number of 17502 in its green livery operating the service.

The regular 15 driver informs me 17502 or A trident will do the last 2 days next weekend as no point in fixing D158 FYM as its tax or MOT or both runs out on Sat and Ensign are due to pick her up

If Ensign are picking up D158 FYM, it will need fixing for the journey down south.
