RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
They should do a proper job (like Stagecoach Gold) and buy new high spec vehicles instead of wasting money doing up perfectly good existing vehicles. The Enviro400s are probably struggling to cope with all the enhanced interior fittings/electrics etc. Never had any trouble with them on the tunnels. |

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
If they are useless, why would they want more of them sent over? |

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
I think the problem is more to do with not having enough spare vehicles available in sapphire enhanced livery , its not good to see normal livered vehicles on this service without the Wi-fi . I probably think that this will be the last sapphire enhancement with existing vehicles , all further sapphire enhancements should be with new vehicles , Arriva could do without the bad publicity. |

i said there crap. its the depot that said they want 2 more which will probably be crap. like DVG256 Said it should be brand new vehicles for such a promotion not tarted up old s**t. dont even like Stagecoach myself but atleast i can say they know what to do with a promotional service. is it really that hard for arriva to spend a little money spend enough tarting them up. ''Arriva here to take you there'' not the best moto is it when your breaking down left right and centre. also in abit more interesting news Y543UJC 0843 is now at Wrexham depot after Transferring from Rhyl! |

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
The conversation has now gone round full cirlce and not for the first time. Regardless of whatever Arriva should or shouldn't have done, it's probably best to leave it there. As mentioned, the reliability problems stem from an issue with additional electrical systems installed during refurbishment so hopefully something which will be rectified at some point. Best to move on for now though... |

Whilst I disagree with LJ51's views on the Enviros, it's good to see someone debating in a spirited fashion on the forum. |

Exactly...but this bus forum we can no longer debate and have a discussion about buses....i made that remark before but got my post deleted typically by CX54...probably put my warning level up to soon |

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
I don't think there is anything wrong with having a debate, don't think there was anything in it but just people disagreeing. I do think we were going back to the beginning on the Enviro400 discussion, but that sort of thing happens a fair bit on here or used to anyway. |
