I had 2248 on the 56 this evening (quite unusual as this service is normally Pulsar-operated on Saturdays from what I see of it) and am not impressed with it. It was rough, cold and it had excessive fumes at the back inside (burning smell). It seems that 2241, 2243, 2244, 2247 and 2248 are here (so far).

4097 seems to have returned here as it was parked appearing to be ready for service in the depot this afternoon. At least three Enviro400s were on the 52/52A this afternoon - nice to see, especially with Christmas getting closer.

Furthermore, awful 7663 was still in service on the 58 (with 7674).

4097 returned as the mot was up and required a new one and because st helens got work done on 4014 which as made it one of the fastest dla's ive driven or been on.

Thanks for confirming 2248, thought it was here but couldn't remember if I had seen it or not. Probably not long left for 7663, is 7662 still about.

I last seen 7662 on Monday - it was on the 61 and it sounded like it was having exhaust issues judging by the loudness!

2518 was on the 52/52A this morning.

Also, 4416 was on the 311 this evening (scheduled to work on the last 311 from Skelmersdale to Walton) - seen in Ormskirk Skelmersdale-bound on time whilst 2916 was running no more than 10 minutes later in front of it fully-seated!

Had a ride of 2248 for the first time since it arrived on the 61, driver who took over said to another driver he won't be having that all night and will change it on the return journey from Aigburth. This one kinds of moves ok but other than that is a pretty awful ride, lots of clanging from underneath at the rear of the bus, not a bus I would hope to get again in too much of a hurry.

I agree with your comments - I hope that the others are better in quality!

According to a source on Facebook (credit to them!), 7662 and 7663 have now been stored in Chester depot (also there is 7667, for the record).

The only Marshall I have seen all week is 7659, any others probably just haven't been around places I have been at the same time. Can't say I am sorry to see the back of 7662 & 7663. Anybody know how bad 2265 was damaged the other week and will it be coming back. Thanks.

2227 is on the 52/52A (among a few welcome Enviro400s - one of which I seen fully-loaded in Litherland, Netherton-bound) and 2244 is on the 55 (don't think that it's on a late board) - both Plaxtons were Liverpool-bound in Ford running together!

2946 has been replaced by 7674 on the 311 in Ormskirk, Liverpool-bound, about 20 minutes ago. Fortunately, that should be my bus home later - it'll be nice to have something different and possibly a Marshall for the last time!
