I don't know Ace,
One of the 08 reg Enviro400's allocated to 236's today seemed to really struggle up the steep Mottram road in Stalybridge with the bus barely reaching what felt like 5/10mph. It was so bad the driver kept waving cars to overtake when their were breaks in oncoming traffic.
Hopefully the allocators at AZ will make a note of these 'slow' ones and keep them off the hilly 236/237 Smile

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Given what is mentioned in the details of the 610, it looks SLT will also be taking over the evening journeys from Wigan Buses too, meaning one operator for the Mon-Sat evening service rather than shared between Stagecoach and Wigan Buses.

To be fair I think these vehicles were due to be cascaded once the Metrolink replacements had finished (last weekend) on paper anyway. I think the latest Fleet card also had them down as for cascade but as is often the case what's on paper as happening and what actually happens are often completely different. 19092 has had all its internal adverts removed so it looks likely they are due to go.

Yes it's surprising how some of the Enviro400's seem to struggle with the hill, yet a number of the MAN's, etc seem to manage ok. Maybe it's something to do with the bus being heavier and so needing more power, which the Enviro400's haven't got.

There actually seems to be quite a lot of Enviro400's that have been stripped of their external adverts recently. I thought this may be something to do with them possibly being cascaded, but some of the buses are ones that are obviously not going anywhere, such as HE's 08 and 58 reg's, unless there is something we don't know about....Dodgy

Talking of MAN's, 22136 in Sale (Broad Road) about 4.00 pm this afternoon - possibly waiting for its turn on the X5 to Stockport?

a lot of the internal ads are sometimes local to the depot the buses run from, for example AZ's Enviro200's have internal adverts for Tameside and glossop health trust and a local Indian restaurant so there possibly stripped of the ads when there moving depots within the group.
