This is great news following the last few months of uncertainty of this extension.

I wonder if this will make a surprise appearance at this weekend's Heritage Days. If not actually running, may be possible for 167 to be placed on Blundell Street for one of the afternoon's (as happened at Easter with some of the Balloons).

Could 167's blind setting have been the lucky omen for the Council decision last night - fate is a strange thing you know!

Another makeover planned for Blackpool 290

http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/news/?p=7428

Having been at the Pleasure Beach most of the weekend, I can say that 290 is looking rough at the moment so hopefully a repaint might help it's appearance because it is also becoming a blight as passengers use the Heritage Trams in this area.

Just come back from Blackpool and had a good weekend on the Heritage Trams. On Sunday, Twin Set T2 & 272, 706 and 648 were out with a nice surprise appearance from 642 (swap from 648). On Sunday, 230, 600 and 706 were out with Standard 147 doing to last trip to Fleetwood.
