I agree, I've seen less of the Solos both 51 and 54 plates about, more of the Marshalls creeping on the night workings of the 345+353/4/. Prefer the R reg Plaxton Pointer darts widely than the Marshalls

Unfortunately there is only one R reg dart left (40403), the 51-reg Solos are horrendous but the 54-reg Solos are quite nice. Comparitively.

Facebook page about the soon-to-start cross-city 42 service. Not sure if the page has anything to do with First Manchester but apparently there will be a launch for 'Cross Connect' in Piccadilly Gardens on Saturday.

The following are currently reported as being allocated to Rusholme:-
Volvo B7TL/ALX400 30954-30965,
ADL Tridents/Plaxton President 32867, 32911, 32913, 32915, 32959, 32972,
Volvo Olmpian/N.C. 34102, 34104, 34206, 34219,
WB StreetLite 63096-63103, 63105-63117.
Vauxhall Combo Van 90570.

However, there are a number movements due to take place this week.

34102 went back to OM loaned bus

Movements are street lamps 63146-56 and believed to be some of the current Rusholme fleet of streetlites going to Queens Road as they were originally intended

37554BY, are you able to confirm the rumour that the Streetlite's on service 42, which are due to be replaced by new Enviro400's in the summer, will be transferred to Bury to replace the W-reg'd Citaro's

It will be sad to see if the Streetlites replace the Citaro's but not Marshall/Plaxton Darts or B10's as QS, as I think the Citaro's are a lot nicer.

Can't confirm that 100 percent but it's even stated on more than one forum that it's true all the drivers have been all VFd on them. Bury has the oldest operational fleet currently at First Manchester. And the citaros are no going to go on forever.
