From another forum (thanks Eric!), new Solo's 47922/3 have also arrived at Rock Ferry for use during the open. Like 37127-9, these are also intended for Preston.

Just been past about 2330 tonight, 37127/8 & 47922/3 all parked outside in the yard near the A41, hopefully get some shots in the morning on my way to the MTT open day at Burscough. I didn't notice if there was anything else in the yard as was driving, but I'm presuming, like 2006, there must be buses coming in from other Stagecoach companies to assist.

Just commented on this on the VOSA thread, I wouldn't have though this would fit in anywhere with the QBP, might take a different route as well so no effect. Certainly a service that is required though and will get some custom.

Looks like it will be starting in Chester, calling at Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port then onto the M53 until the A41, through Rock Ferry and Birkenhead into Liverpool.

I think that the X2 maybe coming to an end between Chester and Ellesmere Port with this new service X8 , never thought a Chester - Ellesmere Port could possibly last .
