RE: First Manchester
If anyone remembers 64029 came to Oldham because of the first fire. Also, one of our Solo's were replaced by 50280, again because of fire. Note how both have Mercedes-Benz engines...

Okay, this is the first time I've known the 425 to have a summer timetable...

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

RE: First Manchester
Probably shorter times across Oldham as there'll be less traffic on Ashton Road and Lees Road into town.

They're going to have issues getting them around Carrbrook, as I know Stagecoach did with their MAN's, as did SpeedWellBus with their Enviro300[s?]. Besides that anyway the PVR for both routes far exceeds 10. It's unlikely.

i did get told 10 07 reg buses from Oldham but i looked at fleet list and Oldham do not have any 07 buses what they could do with is newer darts something like Halifaxs 42181 batch etc

there are only 3 P-LNDS left in service at Pioneer 40001/40337/40341

RE: First Manchester
Then that would mean Oldham would take over this side of the 350 with either B9TL's, or other B7TL's that we might recieve, otherwise there'd be no point in upgrading the route.

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

RE: First Manchester
I carnt see it myself. Not so long ago First were doing away with all deckers at Dukinfield, so why all of a sudden do they want to 'upgrade' the 348's/350's when there's no competition and from what I've seen the Darts seem to do perfectly well most of the time, infact over the last few days I've noticed an increasing number of Solo's on daytime 348's and 350's.
Got to be a case of 'I'll belive it when I see it' Smile

Saw another Bolton B9 37400 In the new livery,

40405 broken down again for the second time in 10 days, on bridgeman street around the corner from Bolton Depot more or less. Didn't quite make it home so to speak.

Talking of darts 4000 is knackered, it sounds like its engine will drop out of the back.

Went on Arrow 31918 561s withins circular. Such a banger now a days. All the arrows should be binned off

on a posotive note though

The oldest bendi at Bury 10017 sounds like its had a bit of a tune up, was on 471s to Bolton today and it can shift a hell of a lot quicker than the newer 05 12001/18 omni city scania bendis

N412JBV needs to be binned off if anything. If you think that the Arrows are bad, then you've seen nothing until you've been on that thing.
