RE: GHA Group (Bryn Melyn, Vale Travel + Others)
Seems that the new GHA Gold 88 timetable is proving a bit ambitious to run at the moment, I caught 15:15 from Knutsford which left about 10 minutes down and arrived in Altrincham at 16:30 (should have left on its return journey at 16:15). Mind you the 15:15 journey from Altrincham wasn't faring to well either as I saw this at 16:00 in Wilmslow heading towards the train station then noticed it again about 5 mins lates still stuck in traffic near the Rail Station |

Solo LJI8023 was unusually allocated onto the X20 service today, witnessed it at Foregate Street. 'Strange' :P |

Well it was the first day of the new TrawsCymru T3 timetable today, not that you'd have known it this morning with two out of the three seen showing X94! |

I happened to notice that, if you navigate to GHA's T3 timetable and hover over the tab in your browser, it shows X94 there in the text which appears too. |

That way, the drivers will know where it is in the list and it will be impossible to show the wrong route number. |

To be accurate the new timetable requires 4 vehicles during the day with a fifth being used in the evening. Herewith my sightings of the daytime four - CA07GHA CA58GHA YR14HLU and BA04GHA Looking closely - there is now a Traws Cymru branding albeit not very prominent. Apologies for the quality of the photos - not a good day for taking photos. DLG817
I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group The address and a link is www.Ronsbusesandcoaches.com

RE: GHA Group (Bryn Melyn, Vale Travel + Others)
[I was able to see two of the new Enviro 200's in operation on the improved frequency 88 service Altrincham to Knutsford. YX64VRG and YX64VRK were captured in Wilmslow. I understand that one of the new Enviros (YX64VRJ) is the last to receive its vinyls and will be displayed at the NEC Euro Bus Expo 2014 next week. The currently branded Versa MX58KZF will therefore remain on the 88 until VRJ is free to take its place. [/quote] I managed to photograph all three new Enviro 200's on Saturday YX64 VRG, YX64 VRJ and YX64 VRK I'm guessing that YX64 VRH is the fourth member of the quartet that is at the NEC this week then? There is a nice piece on the new branding and improved 88 service in last week's 'Bus and Coach Buyer'. It suggests that the 'GHA Gold' branding is set to spread quickly to other services. |
