RE: Halton Transport
QBPs coming to the 17, 61 and 14s during this year:

37 Bus Service 10 and 10A QPS Existing agreement between operators Stagecoach and Arriva along the St Helens – Prescot – Liverpool bus route will act as model for other proposed routes. With St Helens BC.

38 Bus Service 61 QPS Provision of improved cross boundary fares offer on 61 bus service and standardisation of timetable to provide a service every 20 minutes minimum between Prescot – Rainhill – Widnes. With Knowsley, St
Helens & Halton BC.

40 Bus Service 17 and 33 QPS Provision of improved cross boundary fares offer and interavailable ticketing between operators on the 17 and 33 bus services, as well as coordination of timetable to provide a service every 15 minutes between St Helens – Widnes and introduction of real time passenger information along routes. With St Helens &
Halton BC.

41 Bus Service 14 and 79C QPS Provision of improved cross boundary fares offer and interavailable ticketing between operators on the 14 and 79C bus services, as well as the introduction of real time passenger information along routes.

Interestingly though it doesnt appear that the 14/79C will be going to a full combined timetable like all the other QBPs have happened - merely interavailable tickets and RTI.

RE: Halton Transport
Looking at the dealer's website a good deal of stock appears to with the disposing operator, so could well remain in service up to sale. They even have Maltese buses for sale!
