Just watched the Shoreshank Redemption for the first time - possibly one of the best films I've ever seen! If you ever get the chance to watch it, it's truly a must. Well worth the 2 and half hours I should have just spent revising!

Although Corrie is well-known for being our local soap, it was poignant watching it yesterday. I met Samia Ghadie (Maria) just before Christmas and it was her 30th birthday yesterday!

Absolutely excellent opening ceremony as a whole. Have to admit being skeptical at the start of the industrial revolution section but after the first 10 minutes or so, I thought it was brilliant. Also thought Paul McCartney was exceptional in closing the ceremony - amazing atmosphere by the looks of things, would have loved to have been there!

The procession of nations went on a bit though......!

Has anyone else been watching The Route Masters on BBC2 about TfL. The last 2 episodes have been about bus operations - fascinating.
