The X8 and 1/2 were all over the place today because of Chester Races I presume ,the 1 I got from Eastham to Liverpool was 30 minutes late and when we got Rock Ferry depot there was another one right behind us so we transferred to that and ours ran empty to try and make his time up,also a Arriva 2 passed us about 20 minutes late.

Not good and will be like that every time there is a race meeting on in Chester so is nothing out of the ordinary , the problem is the city and the racecourse are so close together that traffic snarls up for miles around on that side of the city .

It is a pain when the races are on, when I have come from the A41 side you can queue up for ages from round about the hospital and there is little you can do.

Maybe Stagecoach could look at a vehicle that could possibly be put on standby at Chester single decker of course to take up any service that is running late and then the vehicle that is replaced then becomes the standby , would have to adequately supervised as well.

The service 2 becomes a bit more of a pain with the Arriva bus service being so irregularly patterned .

I believe 36071 went out today also.

The Tesco bus only runs certain days a week (Mon,wed Fri???)

18152 on 2s today.
