Rosso look to be trying to completely push First off the 468/469 routes.

We will see how successful they will be. Despite First have a history of bowing out of smaller non-city routes and the Bury depot being quite neglected I think Rosso will have a tough time in these areas.

Edit: I checked CU04 AMX, CU04 AOP and CU04 AUV on the DVLA site and they are all untaxed and without SORN. This would usually indicate they have been scrapped, if they are off the road they are supposed to have SORN declared.

I believe PVR is actually down; the 469s is just 2 extra buses and the 468s ran just as frequently at peak times before the summer. 258-260 don't appear on the current fleetlist (available at http://www.rossobus.com/enthusiasts). I'm sure they were sold although at least 2 have never left the premises!

I went on 24 today from bury interchange - rochdale operating service 468. Is there some issues with the new geminis?

Do Rosso have Drivegreen? I experienced some bad driving today which also in the end ended up with me possibly committing a traffic offence due to the drivers actions at the terminus. This is why I think it may backfire if I report this to Rosso.

Rosso are still operating a couple of olympians. I went on 24 and saw 28 last week. Told this is due to the new geminis being late

There's Olympians 10 still in use : 19, 21, 23-30

Five Gemini's will replace 5 Olympians in the next few weeks, the other 5 Geminis are still at the depot untouched.

Minsterley Motors DX12OWC branded for service 435 Shrewsbury to Ludlow on hire to Rosso. Seen today in Accrington on service 484 to Bury.

Another one is DX12OWA and numbered 208.
buslistsontheweb lists 6 in the batch to Minsterley Motors- DX12OWV/X/Z, OWA/B/C. Apparently one was written off and one has been sold to another operator.

This particular vehicle had a sticker inside the front windscreen 'ON HIRE TO ROSSO'.
I did not actually see the owner's details which are usually at the rear nearside of the vehicle.
