I recall reading elsewhere that MAN's were due from one of the Scottish fleets for C&NL.....22872-88? Is that still the plan?

Yes - but the MAN Enviro300s from Dunfermline will be replacing non-DDA ALX300s rather than B10Ms.

The new vehicles for Dunfermline are due to arrive next week, so transfers should start soon.

RE: Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
Due to the closure of the Forth Road bridge for emergency repairs, at least until the new year, Stagecoach are drafting in 40 vehicles from elsewhere to allow services to run as normal as possible, and provide additional capacity. It seems that both B10M-55s are coming up from Cumbria to Fife for the duration of the closure.

I'd also reckon that the cascade of the MAN 18.240s from Fife to Cumbria, which is due to take place when the new E200MMCs arrive this month, may well be delayed as a result of the closure as well.

Carlisle depot was flooded for a second time as floods hit the area over the weekend. This time however the buses were moved to safety in the city centre. On the previous occasion in 2005 many buses were written off.

All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

This time there was an inkling something bad was going to happen , in 2009 I think stagecoach was taken by surprise by the speed the water came up in Carlisle .

Stagecoach were aware in 2009 that they would (probably) get flooded; the problem is that you can't just dump 80-odd vehicles onto the city centre without closing roads etc first.
It took the council time to get that sorted, which meant that things were a little tight, but of course fortunately the depot stayed dry.
