Assuming the new 329 is half-hourly and the 110 stays at roughly every 20 minutes, interworking might just about work for 1 bus per hour.
But I think Link Network will probably want to keep the extra flexibility to be able to retime their services ahead of Arriva.
If Link Network did interwork their 110 and 329, then Arriva could retime either one of their 110 or 329 to be running ahead of Link Network, who then might not be able to respond as easily.
