There's been a couple before but not recently - certainly a very rare allocation. Usually after all of the double deckers are allocated there's four spare Enviro400s (usually one or two end up on the 68) and four or five spare Gemini 3s (two usually on the 26/27 with the BYDs) - although these are reduced when you include buses which are off the road for checks or repairs
