RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan

Fueling 90+ buses every night when most large depots barely have enough wiggle room in fueling there own fleets overnight, having plans and operations in place for drivers signing on/off and paying in. Passing the scheduled Maintanance (28 day inspections) onto other depots when with a fleet that size Ashton must do around 5/6 a day. With Stockport, Hyde Road and Middleton all roughly 20 minutes each way staff must be working a good 24 hour operation to keep it running. Been told that the depot should have opened this afternoon (Monday) as demolition work is now well under way. Although Clarence street is closed to traffic they are apparently letting buses in and out of the depot. |
