The 62 leaving Warrington only ever has a handful on at any given time. The services around Widnes look very very quiet and Arriva seem to be the dominant operator. The 27 never has more than 6-7 people on it, I know as it goes past my house. I speak to Halton drivers and they say they don’t know how the company continues in its current form as they don’t take many passengers. Because you have made the same comment 3 times now in the last few months about how they are just about hanging on because you see a very small percentage of their journeys which in your opinion are carrying fresh air. Remember..... a commercially registered service must pay for its self and must turn a profit. Like I've said accountants and auditors will be checking data and figures often, if it was a case that they were in any way struggling as you perceive then the company would be very quickly sold off. |
