2493 was picked up from Southport on Thursday by The Hoff (from Birkenhead- one of their shunters) after receiving a new MOT and a little appearance in service. There are some 20 Cadets now allocated to the new Rail pool which are predominantly from the 54 plate batch but also include 2629 from the small 07 one.
