In that year, Crosville operated service 99; a Summer Sunday and bank holiday service from Liverpool to Jodrell Bank via Widnes, Warrington and Tatton Park. Bit of a longshot, but does anyone know when it was introduced, how long it lasted for and calling points? It started on June 14th 1987 and ran Liverpool, Widnes and Warrington to Tatton Park, Capesthorne Hall, Jodrell Bank, Styal Country Park and Quarry Bank Mill. It was operated by Mersey Bus in that first year and finished for 1987 on October 4th. It was one of 5 summer Sunday services Cheshire CC started that summer to coincide with the launch of the all operator Sunday Adventurer ticket. |
