June Changes:


Preston services
Preston Bus Evening Timetable Reductions PBT Lfts

From 24 June 2024 Preston Bus will revise the following timetables, withdrawing a number of evening journeys on their commercial network:
Service 6 Preston – Brookfield – Red Scar

The daily 2155 & 2255 journeys from Preston will be withdrawn, with the last departure from Preston being 2055.
Service 23 Preston – Fulwood – Royal Preston Hospital – Asda

The 2210 & 2310 Monday to Saturday journeys from Preston will be withdrawn, with alternative journeys from Preston are available at 2140 & 2240.

The 2210, 2240 & 2310 Sunday journeys from Preston will be withdrawn, with the last departure from Preston being 2140.
Service 35 Preston – Tanterton

The 2130 & 2230 Monday to Saturday journeys from Preston will be withdrawn, with alternative journeys from Preston are available at 2100, 2200 & 2300.

The 2130, 2200 & 2230 Sunday journeys from Preston will be withdrawn, with the last departure from Preston being 2100.
Service 100 Faringdon Park – Preston – Larches

The 2036, 2136 & 2236 Monday to Saturday journeys from Preston to Faringdon Park and the 1959, 2059, 2159 & 2259 Monday to Saturday journeys from Preston to Larches will be withdrawn. Alternative journeys from Preston to Faringdon Park are available at 2006, 2106, 2206 & 2306 and alternative journeys from Preston to Larches are available at 1929, 2029, 2129 & 2229.

On Sundays, all later evening journeys will be withdrawn, with the last departures from Preston to Faringdon Park at 2106 and from Preston to Larches at 2029.

Lancashire County Council are currently evaluating if funding can be available to provide any replacement journeys for these withdrawals.
West Lancashire services
Service 319 Trainlink Skelmersdale – Headbolt Lane – Kirkby

From 9 June 2024 Stagecoach, on behalf of Lancashire County Council, will revise the route and timetable, adjusting the route to serve the new Headbolt Lane Railway Station in Kirkby. Following customer requests, the service will also serve Skelmersdale War Memorial stop at Neverstitch Road. There will be minor adjustments to some journey times to link with trains and improve overall service reliability.

New combined integrated bus / rail ticketing will also be introduced to improve through travel to/from Liverpool Merseyrail and the wider rail network.
