It wouldn't be as big an issue if they still called Warrington's "Cat7".

I don't know why the registration process doesn't automatically reject registrations where there's a number clash, unless the registrations have significant overlap between routes. (Like there is with the D&G 84X and Stagecoach 84 in Crewe). It may have been hard to do in the past, but shouldn't be now with open access data for registered bus routes.
