I've heard reports Lime Street station was extremely badly managed yesterday, with huge crowds being held outside the station, while the concourse was relatively quiet and strengthened services were departing with only a handful of passengers on board. One EMR service was showing as 2 carriages yesterday evening, but everything else was showing as 3-11 carriages, with most departures being 4 or 6. In fact it looks like only departures heading towards Warrington saw 2 or 3 car formations. |
