Blue Star are a subsidiary of Go Ahead's South Coast operation. The vehicle was formerly National Express West Midlands 4819, and is one of a batch of six that were acquired for schools work in January this year. I do sometimes wonder about the wisdom of using 16 year old vehicles on work of this nature - the practice is specifically prohibited in many places. |
