RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
After being withdrawn from service as far back as early September 2012 the MPD's 857 and 858 have been stored and remained largely intact at the Arriva North West's Gaw End Lane outstation for over nine months. However, in mid June 2013 they received the 'black band' treatment and their sale and removal seems imminent, apparently to an operator in Shropshire, where the plan is that one will be stripped to return the other to service.
